Session on the Curriculum Framework

Sri Hemkunt Sen. Sec. School (International) organized an informative training session on the Curriculum Framework for its teaching staff. The session was conducted by Ms. Achama Mathew, a Cambridge accredited trainer, an author of Cambridge global perspective resources , and currently involved in teaching and training for global perspectives and English, Maths and Science for Cambridge primary. She shared valuable insights into the effective implementation of the curriculum and modern teaching-learning practices.
During the session, Ms. Mathew explained the key components and objectives of the curriculum framework. She highlighted the importance of competency-based learning, experiential learning, critical thinking, and learner-centred teaching methods. She also discussed the need to align classroom activities, learning outcomes, assessment strategies, and teaching practices with the objectives of the curriculum.
The session was interactive and engaging. Teachers actively participated in discussions and gained practical ideas to make classroom teaching more effective, meaningful, and inclusive. The training also encouraged teachers to adopt innovative strategies and focus on the overall development of students.
