Session on the Curriculum Framework
Sri Hemkunt Sen. Sec. School (International) organized an informative training session on the Curriculum Framework for its teaching staff. The session was conducted by Ms. Achama Mathew, a Cambridge accredited trainer, an author of Cambridge global perspective resources , and currently involved in teaching and training for global perspectives and English, Maths and Science for Cambridge primary. She shared valuable insights into the effective implementation of the curriculum and modern teaching-learning practices.
During the session, Ms. Mathew explained the key components and objectives of the curriculum framework. She highlighted the importance of competency-based learning, experiential learning, critical thinking, and learner-centred teaching methods. She also discussed the need to align classroom activities, learning outcomes, assessment strategies, and teaching practices with the objectives of the curriculum.
The session was interactive and engaging. Teachers actively participated in discussions and gained practical ideas to make classroom teaching more effective, meaningful, and inclusive. The training also encouraged teachers to adopt innovative strategies and focus on the overall development of students. Honourable Chaiman Sr. Kulwant Singh Sandhu, Managing Director Ms. Ranjit Kaur Sandu and Principal Ms. Sonia Sharma appreciated Ms. Achama Mathew for conducting such an enriching and informative session. Graduation Ceremony of Kindergarten
Sri Hemkunt International school celebrated 3 days graduation ceremony of kindergarten. Honorable chairman Sr. kulwant Singh Sandhu, Managing director Mrs. Ranjit Kaur Sandhu, Principal Ms. Sonia Sharma and other dignitaries graced the occasion. The program commenced with the ceremonial lamp lighting by dignitaries. Children performed dance on peppy numbers, expressing their Joy on graduating to primary section. Their performance mesmerized everyone. The glimpse of their journey in kindergarten stole everyone's hearts. Tiny tots looked attractive in their graduation robes and caps. Sr. Kulwant Singh Sandhu and Ranjit Kaur Sandhu congratulated the little graduates and their parents on this momentous occasion and appreciated their efforts. Principal Ms. Sonia Sharma complementary the graduates on their achievements, congratulated for their hard work, dedication and gave them best wishes and blessings for their journey to the senior school. The program ended with the National Anthem.
